is an attorney graduated from Universidad Latina de Costa Rica class of 2005, where he obtained an Associate’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Law. He was admitted to the Costa Rican Bar Association in 2005. Subsequently, he attended the University of New York at Buffalo Law School where he obtained a LLM and graduated with honors being the first of his class.
While still in Law School he worked with various non for profit organizations in Western New York such as the International Institute of Buffalo and the Volunteer Lawyers’ Project of Erie County Bar Association where he performed assisting immigrants in various issues such as family based immigration, asylum, resettlement process for refugees, citizenship.
In addition, he coordinated business based immigration cases to South America for Fortune 500 companies.
Under Outlier Legal, Rafael has been able to assist numerous clients to obtain residency in Costa Rica. As well as to assist many other expats in opening business in Costa Rica and obtain real estate.
Currently, his goal is to provide unparalleled legal services to the immigrant community in Costa Rica.
